Open Water Diver

This is the first entry level diver certification, after successfully completing this course. You will be able to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters with a buddy at most of the dive sites around the world. It’s the key to unlocking countless dive destinations! The course consists of theory learning, theory exam, 2 pool training, and 4 open water dives.The course requires 3 days to complete. If you’re in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water, you can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.

Prerequisite

  • Minimum age is 10 years old

  • 10- to 14-year-old divers earn a Junior Open Water Diver certification

  • 10 - 11 years old depth limit is 12 meters

  • Able to swim 200m without aid

  • or 300m with snorkelling equipment

  • No prior unfit health conditions
